Sequel to The Sarran Plague

Syn Sinclair is one of the women taken from Earth to Sarran to replenish the fem population. While still en route on the Brightstar, Syn meets the Sarran Elder, TeZaron and thinks he looks down on her because of her checkered past. Upon landing, Nafer, TeZaron and TeBron's offspring, recognizes Syn as his "Mommie," something the Elders didn't realize because of the mind blocks they had placed on each other to ensure the success of the mission to Earth.

Syn, a former prostitute and drug addict, left home at sixteen because she was sexually abused by her father and his friends. She made it out of the gutter and into the halls of higher education, getting her Masters in Psychology with a specialization in PTSD. Now she’s afraid her WarriorPair won’t accept her because of her past. As soon as they bring her to their home, she works to gain their respect.

Supported by her WarriorPair and their son Nafer, Syn settles into her new household with grace and energy. She is happy, very happy, except for one niggling doubt. Although she knows her Warriors have accepted her, she worries how others will view her new social position on Sarran. In particular, a fem from Syn's past lets everyone know she’s unfit to BondStir with the High Lords. Madeline Dixon-Howard sees Syn as a blight on the new society.

Additionally, an even deeper evil is hiding in the Sarran government. Someone has sold information to the roach-like Zyptz, someone who planted a bomb and listening devices in the homes. Someone doesn't want Earth women to mix into the Sarran genepool. Syn's insights as a psychologist combined with her new Psy powers just might help her Warriors find out who the traitors are and devise a plan to capture them.

The second book of the series brings the spotlight onto several minor characters from the first book. For the most part I liked the characters although after a while I grew a little tired of the leading lady's lack of confidence in herself. Not a big distraction but there nonetheless. However the main men of the story easy and complete acceptance of her was wonderful to read and very refreshing.

I liked the fact that we got to see more of the day to day life of Sarran, An idealized society but well thought out and definitely a place I'd like to visit if that were possible.

A few minor editing errors but nothing to annoying. All in all a very good sequel and an enjoyable series.

Good reading. Enjoying the series and look forward to more from this author.
Great continuation to the series. Liked how some of the characters were carried over from the first book and got their own stories.
This is much better than the first book. The story line was more solid and the characters were believable. At times the story seemed wooden. The story had drama but not enough conflict between and evil. Overall it was a good book.
I just finished living with syn and like book one i loved it.what made the story so great for me was that the main three some and the two males one from earth and one from sarren had a role in this book.the cats make this book light and an easy read.but make sure you start with book one.now i hope to get book three soon
I enjoyed this second book of the Sarran series very much. It takes up where the authors first book left off and follows the story of Syn and her two warriors who are also the Elders that are head of the ruling council on the planet. As the story plays out, we discover who was behind the conspiracy in the first book and we watch as they are caught. However, there is more to the story that I'm sure we will see in the next book of the series. The was a lot of dialogue in this book, and that would be the only thing that made me give it 4 stars. I would have liked more action, but understand the author is setting the stage for the third book of the series. I'd recommend this book if you have read the first book, The Sarran Plague.
I really enjoyed Living with Syn. The second book in the Sarran series. Syn is an interesting characters and her story inspired. The bonding with Zaron and Bron was sweet. The mommy roll to their young son, Nafar, is cute. I love the roll the cats play. Looking forward to the next novel. I am guessing that Dr Mark and Juraens will find their fem. The triad relationships in this series has some strong m/m sexual contact in and out of the triad. If that bothers you skip this series, but if you have an open mind you will find and great sifi read with a great group of characters and an interesting story line. The story is not overly complicated and each book ends nicely with a hint of what's to come.
